When I have pictured us growing, I have always seen long, gangly stems
.with a flower on the top and, perhaps, a couple of leaves midway
...Recently, though, I have wondered
Maybe, as we mature, our growth is more fairly represented by that of grass. We root ourselves firmly in the Truth, the Reason, and we begin to grow outwardly, from within. Our skills multiply, interests are formed, and traits of our person are birthed from previously learned habits. We mingle, discover, reach across space we daren't have dreamt of touching. We drink deeply from our source, and take a hold of the ground in which we have been planted, as we stretch, and we learn. We revel in the glorious delight of our Gardener. We grow full and deep, as our perception of love becomes taller and wider. We grow, Woman, for the glory of One. So...
